We gathered before midnight,
time slowing between breaths and prayers,
asking how Jesus had been faithful
through the quiet battles of the year.
Each story rose like incense,
soft proof that grace never left us.
With trembling hands, we wrote our sins—
names of failures, hidden fears, old weights.
We dipped them into the blood,
and forgiveness was spoken aloud.
What once accused us stayed behind,
buried in the last minutes of 2025.
Crossing into 2026 felt like clean air,
as if heaven whispered, begin again.
No chains followed us forward,
no past clung to our feet.
Only mercy walked with us,
steady and sure.
We wrote our prayers for the coming year—
freedom from temptation,
release from a self-focused life,
a deeper closeness with Jesus.
Ink met hope on paper,
and surrender felt lighter than fear.
Days before, we sang for Him—
no stage, no gifts wrapped in gold,
only grateful hearts and honest voices.
Our family, imperfect yet united,
offered love as His birthday song,
and heaven felt very near.
Then Christmas arrived unplanned,
a table full of laughter and healing.
For the first time since Father left us,
we were together again.
Goodbye 2025, thank you for the lessons.
Hello 2026—something new has begun. 🙏
