Prayer for the Healing of the Child Within

Heavenly Father,
I come before You as Your daughter, bringing the child within me into Your presence. You see the little girl I once was—the one who longed to be loved, protected, and understood. You saw the moments when she felt alone, confused, or unseen. Nothing in my story has ever been hidden from Your eyes.

Lord Jesus, today I invite You to enter those memories. Walk with me into the places where my heart felt abandoned, where I carried burdens too heavy for a child to bear. I place the younger version of myself into Your gentle hands.

Jesus, speak to that child within me. Tell her that she is not forgotten. Tell her that she is precious and deeply loved. Let her know that she was never meant to carry shame, fear, or loneliness.

Where she felt rejected, bring Your acceptance.
Where she felt unseen, let her feel Your loving gaze.
Where she felt afraid, surround her with Your peace.

I release every wound from my childhood into Your healing light—every memory of loneliness, confusion, or pain. I give You the tears that were never fully cried and the questions that were never answered.

Holy Spirit, comfort the child within my heart. Wrap her in Your presence. Restore the innocence, trust, and joy that were wounded along the way.

I forgive those who hurt or neglected me, whether knowingly or unknowingly. I release them into Your hands, choosing freedom instead of bitterness.

Lord, help the child within me know that she now has a safe place in You. You are my refuge, my protector, and the faithful Friend of my soul.

I receive Your healing today. I receive Your truth that I am valued, wanted, and loved by You.

Restore my heart, Father.
Renew my mind.
Strengthen my spirit.

Let the child within me grow into the woman You created me to be—whole, secure, and rooted in Your love.

Thank You that my story does not end with pain but with redemption. Thank You that You are restoring every part of my heart.
