Prayer Declaration of God’s Identity
Father God,
Before we declare anything about our lives, our year, or our ministry,
we first declare who You are.
God, You Are the Eternal I AM
You are the I AM WHO I AM—unchanging, self-existent, and eternal
(Exodus 3:14; Hebrews 13:8).
You are not limited by time, circumstance, or human weakness.
What You have spoken, You will surely fulfill.
You Are Sovereign and Supreme
You reign over heaven and earth.
Your throne is established forever, and Your kingdom has no end
(Psalm 103:19; Daniel 4:34).
Nothing surprises You. Nothing escapes Your authority.
All things are under Your rule.
You Are Holy and Set Apart
Holy, holy, holy are You, Lord God Almighty
(Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8).
There is no darkness in You—only light, truth, and purity
(1 John 1:5).
We approach You with reverence, humility, and awe.
You Are Father
You are not distant; You are Abba, Father
(Romans 8:15).
You are compassionate, faithful, and tender toward Your children
(Psalm 103:13).
We are known, chosen, and loved by You.
You Are Our Shepherd
The Lord is our Shepherd; we lack nothing
(Psalm 23:1).
You lead us beside still waters and restore our souls.
You guide us with wisdom, patience, and care.
You Are Our Savior and Redeemer
You are mighty to save
(Zephaniah 3:17).
Through Jesus Christ, we are redeemed, forgiven, and made new
(Ephesians 1:7; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
The Cross declares Your mercy; the resurrection declares Your power.
You Are Our Healer and Restorer
You are the Lord who heals us
(Exodus 15:26).
You bind up the brokenhearted and heal every wound
(Psalm 147:3).
Nothing is beyond Your restoring hand.
You Are Our Provider
You are Jehovah Jireh—our Provider
(Genesis 22:14).
Every good and perfect gift comes from You
(James 1:17).
You are faithful to supply all that we need.
You Are Our Protector and Defender
You are our refuge, fortress, and shield
(Psalm 91:1–2).
You fight our battles and go before us
(Exodus 14:14; Deuteronomy 31:8).
No weapon formed against Your purposes will prevail.
You Are Truth and Light
You are the God of truth; You do not lie
(Numbers 23:19).
Your Word is truth and a lamp to our feet
(John 17:17; Psalm 119:105).
You lead us out of deception and into freedom.
You Are Faithful and Unfailing
Great is Your faithfulness
(Lamentations 3:22–23).
You finish what You begin
(Philippians 1:6).
Your love never fails, never ends, and never lets us go
(1 Corinthians 13:8).
Closing Declaration
Lord, You are God—and we are not.
We rest in who You are.
We trust Your nature, Your heart, and Your ways.
This year, this season, and this ministry belong to You.
We anchor our lives not in circumstances, but in Your identity.
You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
