7-Day Healing Retreat Devotional Workbook
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”
Proverbs 18:10
Day 1 – Jehovah Elohim: My Creator
Scripture: Genesis 1:1; Psalm 139:13–14
Reflection:
Before pain, rejection, or loss shaped my story, God formed me intentionally. Jehovah Elohim reminds me that my life began in love, not accident.
Testimony:
There were seasons when I questioned why my story carried pain. Yet the Lord gently reminded me that He created me on purpose. Even the parts of me that felt broken were fully known and deeply loved by Him.
Prayer:
Jehovah Elohim, restore my identity where it was distorted. Help me see myself through Your eyes—as created, wanted, and cherished.
Journaling:
- Where have I questioned my worth or existence?
- What truth does my Creator want me to receive today?
Day 2 – Jehovah Adonai: My Lord
Scripture: Psalm 8:1; Proverbs 3:5–6
Reflection:
Healing deepens when I release control. Jehovah Adonai invites me to stop striving and trust His leadership.
Testimony:
I once relied on control to feel safe. But the Lord showed me that surrender brought rest my strength never could.
Prayer:
Jehovah Adonai, I lay down control and self-protection. Lead me gently in Your ways.
Journaling:
- What am I still trying to manage on my own?
- What would it look like to trust God more deeply?
Day 3 – Jehovah Jireh: My Provider (Including Finances)
Scripture: Genesis 22:14; Philippians 4:19
Reflection:
Jehovah Jireh provides emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Lack does not define my life—God’s faithfulness does.
Testimony:
There were moments when finances felt uncertain, yet I can testify that we never lacked anything. God always provided—sometimes ahead of time, sometimes quietly, but always faithfully. He taught me that provision flows from relationship, not fear.
Prayer:
Jehovah Jireh, You are my Provider. I reject fear and scarcity. I trust You with my needs—seen and unseen.
Journaling:
- Where do I fear lack the most?
- How has God already proven Himself faithful in provision?
Day 4 – Jehovah Rapha: My Healer
Scripture: Exodus 15:26; Psalm 147:3
Reflection:
Jehovah Rapha heals gently, deeply, and personally—body, soul, and spirit.
Testimony:
When I chose forgiveness, the Lord healed me not only emotionally but physically. After forgiving my ex-boyfriend for canceling our wedding plans, my mitral valve prolapse was healed. God showed me how deeply connected forgiveness and healing truly are.
Prayer:
Jehovah Rapha, heal what still aches in me. I choose forgiveness and receive Your restoring power.
Journaling:
- Is there someone I need to forgive?
- What healing might God want to release through forgiveness?
Day 5 – Jehovah Nissi: My Banner (Healing Rejection)
Scripture: Exodus 17:15; Ephesians 1:6
Reflection:
Jehovah Nissi lifts a banner of victory over rejection, shame, and false identity.
Testimony:
Growing up, my mother would tell me I was ugly and would not take me to parties. Rejection shaped how I saw myself.
But the Lord showed me a different truth—He celebrated my birth. He showed me that He caught me when I was born, held me close to His chest, and said:
“You are accepted in the Beloved.”
Prayer:
Jehovah Nissi, I lay down rejection and receive Your truth. I choose to live under Your banner—not shame. I declare I am accepted and loved.
Journaling:
- Where did rejection first touch my heart?
- What truth is God speaking over that wound now?
Day 6 – Jehovah Shalom: My Peace (Healing Panic & Fear)
Scripture: Judges 6:24; Philippians 4:6–7
Reflection:
Jehovah Shalom brings peace by restoring understanding and safety.
Life Testimony:
I used to be in and out of hospitals because of panic attacks. One night, the Lord spoke to me as clearly as if I heard Him aloud. He explained that nothing was wrong with me—it was fear.
He taught me how to breathe and filled me with peace. From that night on, fear lost its power.
Prayer:
Jehovah Shalom, quiet my heart. Teach me to live from Your peace, not fear. I cast out fear in Jesus’ name. I declare that the Lord has not given me a spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind.
Journaling:
- What triggers fear or panic in me?
- How does God invite me to respond differently now?
Day 7 – Jehovah Sabaoth: Lord of Hosts (Divine Protection)
Scripture: 1 Samuel 17:45; Psalm 46:7
Reflection:
Jehovah Sabaoth fights battles we cannot see.
Testimony:
Once, a driver sprayed pampatulog inside a passenger vehicle. But the Lord prompted me to buy food and drinks before entering. The substance did not affect me—the driver himself was affected instead.
God showed me He truly protects His children.
Prayer:
Jehovah Sabaoth, thank You for fighting for me. I rest in Your protection and authority. Thank you for Your blood covering me each day.
Journaling:
- Where do I need to trust God’s unseen protection?
- How has God protected me without my awareness?
Closing Prayer
Lord, thank You for meeting me through Your Names.
Seal the healing You have begun.
Let truth replace lies, peace replace fear,
and love replace rejection.
I trust You with my story.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
